Part-time Clinic Faculty, Unison Lawrence Heights Community Health Centre (CCNM - Toronto Campus)
CCNM is currently seeking Part-time Clinic Faculty for the Unison Lawrence Heights Community Health Centre located at 12 Flemington Road, Toronto, ON, M6A 2N4. Unison Health and Community Services provides programs and services to people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds living within its catchment area. CCNM provides naturopathic care at no cost to members of the Unison Lawrence Heights community through its teaching clinic.
The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have an ability and interest in clinical education. Previous work in community health care and/or with marginalized populations is an asset. Clinic faculty provides primary naturopathic medical care and supervises naturopathic medical students during clinical training. Reporting to the Associate Dean, Clinical Education, the incumbent teaches and evaluates students on clinical competencies outlined in the RSNC clinical curriculum, as well as advises, assesses, and examines student performance on an ongoing basis. Part time faculty become part of the College community and contribute immensely to the clinical training experience.
Shifts Available: Saturdays 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Qualifications
- Minimum of five years clinical experience as a licensed naturopathic doctor or a two-year residency completed at an accredited naturopathic institution plus one year of practice
- Teaching experience in a clinic setting is an asset
- Registered as an ND, licensed in the Province of Ontario
- In good standing with CONO and with any other professional regulatory body with which she/he has been a member
- Meets the College of Naturopaths of Ontario Prescribing Standard of Practice
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Proven organization skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to motivate and engage students
The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), established in 1978, is Canada's premier, pan-Canadian academic institution for education and research in naturopathic medicine. CCNM has two campuses, one in Toronto and another in the Metro Vancouver area known as the Boucher Campus. Its graduates are eligible to write the licensing examinations for all regulated jurisdictions in Canada and the United States to become naturopathic doctors.
