Part-Time Clinic Faculty (CCNM - Boucher Campus)

CCNM is currently seeking Contract Part-Time Clinic Faculty to lead clinic shifts in the CCNM Boucher Clinic. The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have an ability and interest in clinical education. The Clinic faculty provide primary naturopathic medical care to Boucher Clinic patients and supervise naturopathic medical students during their clinical training. Reporting to the Associate Dean, Clinical Education, the incumbent teaches and evaluates students on clinical competencies outlined in the Boucher Clinic clinical curriculum, as well as advises, assesses, and examines student performance on an ongoing basis. Part-Time Faculty become part of the College community and contribute immensely to the clinical training experience.
Available: September 3, 2024 – April 26, 2025
Shifts available:
  • Fridays @ Vancouver Women’s Health Collective. 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years clinical experience as a licensed naturopathic doctor or a two-year residency completed at an accredited naturopathic institution plus one year of practice
  • Teaching experience in a clinic setting is an asset
  • Active licensure with the CCHBC and insurance to practice in British Columbia.
  • In good standing with CCHPBC and with any other professional regulatory body with which she/he has been a member
  • Prescriptive Authority Certification required
  • IV therapy licensing is an asset
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Proven organization skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to motivate and engage students
Pay Rate: The rate of pay for this position is $55.00/hour.
The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), established in 1978, is Canada's premier, pan-Canadian academic institution for education and research in naturopathic medicine. CCNM has two campuses, one in Toronto and another in the Metro Vancouver area known as the Boucher Campus. Its graduates are eligible to write the licensing examinations for all regulated jurisdictions in Canada and the United States to become naturopathic doctors.
