Part Time Academic Faculty (CCNM - Boucher Campus)

Sports Medicine Elective |
This 12 week course consist of 12 in person classes on Mondays from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m., plus asynchronous e-learning material. |
Clinical Medicine (CMS) 100 | Select Thursdays from 1 - 2:30 p.m. Virtual synchronous. Lecture materials have been already created and available. |
Clinical Medicine (CMS) 15 | In person classes run on select Wednesdays 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. In addition, instructors will create a 1hr recording to post prior to the following Monday. Lecture materials have been already created and available. |
Art and Practice of Naturopathic Medicine (ANM) 150 | In person classes run on select Thursdays 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.Lecture materials have been already created and are available. |
Rate of Pay for Instructor: $80/hour. For first-time instruction of a course, an additional 25% will be added to the base rate.

Qualifications
Experience
- Instructional opportunities: Two (2) years of teaching experience and five (5) years of clinical experience is an asset
- Teaching experience with adult learners, particularly in practicum or tutorial settings is an asset.
Education
- Health care professional registered in the province of BC (ND, DC, MD, etc.)
- Training in teaching methodology, curriculum design, and evaluation at a post-secondary level is an asset
- The ideal candidate will possess a Masters or PhD in related topics
- Note additional qualifications will be course dependent
Skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students
- Excellent, demonstrable communication skills
- Established research publication record is desirable
- Proven organizational and time management skills with ability to direct concurrent activities
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with students and colleagues
- Positive, demonstrated commitment to student success
The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), established in 1978, is Canada's premier, pan-Canadian academic institution for education and research in naturopathic medicine. CCNM has two campuses, one in Toronto and another in the Metro Vancouver area known as the Boucher Campus. Its graduates are eligible to write the licensing examinations for all regulated jurisdictions in Canada and the United States to become naturopathic doctors.
