Instructor – Multiple Courses (CCNM - Toronto Campus)

We are currently looking for several highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced faculty to work with us as Instructors for various subjects within the Case Based Curriculum Years Two and Three and the IMG delivery. The Instructor is responsible for delivering the subject as listed below to students, including the learning activities, and assessments in a classroom environment. The courses we require Instructors for are:
Art & Practice of Naturopathic Medicine III (ANM250)
Modules: Ways of knowing, models of practice, anti-oppression, models of success
Thursdays from 1 - 4 p.m.

Patient-Centred Integrated Studies (PCS350)
Emergency Medicine
Asynchronous teaching for 10 hours
Coordinating practicals scheduled on March 24, 31, April 7 from 2 - 5 p.m.

Qualifications
Education
  • The ideal candidate will possess a Masters or PhD in the related disciplines and/or will be trained as a ND, DOM, RN, DC, and MD etc.
  • Training in teaching methodology, curriculum design, and evaluation at a post -secondary level is an asset
Experience
  • At least 3 years of academic and teaching experience
  • A background in innovative, interactive teaching
Skills
  • Excellent computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office suite; good understanding of student information technology, including Moodle
  • Project Management skills an asset
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation/communication skills
  • Ability to exercise professional judgment in a highly confidential environment
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Positive commitment to student success
  • Demonstrated commitment to naturopathic program objectives
The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) is Canada’s premier, pan-Canadian academic institution for education and research in naturopathic medicine.
