International Student Guidelines
Exemption from Quarantine upon Entering Canada
As of July 5, 2021 the Government of Canada has implemented quarantine exemptions for travellers who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and meet specific conditions. You can review the details here: COVID-19 vaccinated travellers entering Canada. Included in this are international students with valid visas as well as Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
Please note: your exemption is not guaranteed and is subject to approval by a Canadian Border Services agent.
As a Designated Learning Institutions (DLI), CCNM must adhere to all federal and provincial government guidelines. As such, students will still be required to complete and submit all prearrival form information noted below to Student Services at info@ccnm.edu. This ensures safeguards are in place should any exemptions be denied.
If you have any questions, please email them to info@ccnm.edu

CCNM recognizes that during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic international students may encounter mental and physical health challenges exacerbated by the conditions of the pandemic. All international students are required to enroll in a health insurance program that meets basic medical needs, including those that are COVID-related. In addition, counselling support is available virtually either through the College’s counselling service or through the Empower Me system that the College subscribes to. In addition, the students will receive Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion training integrated into several of their first-year courses.
