Maintenance Person (CCNM - Boucher Campus)

We are currently looking for highly motivated, skilled and organized Full Time Maintenance Person at our Boucher Campus to assist in the maintenance and repair of various building systems and equipment throughout the college, including general repairs, maintenance work and completion of specific renovation projects. Reporting to the Director Campus Operations and Academic Affairs, this position will be responsible for ensuring the campus is maintained and will identify and deal with deficiencies on the premises as they arise, provide classroom setup assistance, manage various types of work requests in a timely manner, work with the Manager, Maintenance and Security from the Toronto campus on renovation projects as required, multitask while working on projects simultaneously.

Payrate: the annual salary for this position is: $42,500.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years general maintenance experience
- Completion of a recognized building maintenance certificate program or equivalent experience
- Experience safely operating maintenance equipment including table saws, grinders, miter saws and pipe cutters
- Proven ability in painting and plasterwork, plumbing, minor electrical and mechanical repair
- Able to utilize relevant computer software programs including CMMS
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings
- Must have and retain a working knowledge of related legislation such as Occupational Health & Safety Act, and Fire Code
- Strong organizational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision in fast paced environment
- exceptional customer services skills to deal with all levels of staff, faculty and students · Current Working at Heights, 4 step worker health and safety and WHMIS certification or willingness to obtain
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and overtime when required
- Able to meet the physical demands of the primary functions of the position including standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads and exposure to outside weather conditions
