Join CCNM as Part-Time Clinic Faculty on Katzie First Nation
The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) is seeking Part-Time Clinic Faculty to lead clinic shifts at the Katzie Health and Community Centre, located on the Katzie First Nation. The health centre is located at 19700a Salish Road, Pitt Meadows, BC.
This is a unique opportunity to provide care directly within the First Nation community while supporting the education of future naturopathic physicians.
As part of our clinical education team, you will:
  • Deliver primary naturopathic medical care to patients from Katzie First Nation.
  • Supervise and mentor naturopathic medical students, helping them develop clinical skills and professional confidence.
  • Teach and evaluate students on clinical competencies outlined in the CCNM-Boucher clinical curriculum.
  • Provide ongoing guidance, feedback, and assessment to support student learning and professional development.
While this position is based on the Katzie First Nation, all faculty remain employees of CCNM, with reporting structures maintained through the College.

Available: June 12, 2026 – April 30, 2027
(Short, long-term and coverage contract opportunities are available, with start dates beginning immediately or in September 2026.)
Available Clinic Shifts at Katzie Health and Community Centre:
  • Friday: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Additional shifts are available at the CCNM - Boucher Campus. Please feel free to inquire for further opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Recommended minimum of two years of clinical experience as a licensed naturopathic doctor
  • Teaching experience in a clinical setting is considered an asset
  • Active license with the CCHPBC and professional liability insurance to practice in British Columbia
  • In good standing with CCHPBC and any other professional regulatory body with which the candidate has been affiliated
  • Prescriptive Authority Certification required
  • Acupuncture certification required
  • IV Therapy licensing is an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, mentor, and engage students
Compensation
CCNM will compensate Part-Time Clinic Faculty at a rate of $56.65 per hour for scheduled clinic shifts during the term.

The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), established in 1978, is Canada's premier pan-Canadian academic institution for education and research in naturopathic medicine. CCNM operates two campuses: one in Toronto and another in the Metro Vancouver area, known as the Boucher Campus.
Graduates of CCNM are eligible to write licensing examinations in all regulated jurisdictions across Canada and the United States to become naturopathic doctors.
