Advancement Coordinator (CCNM - Boucher Campus)
Purpose for Position
To provide assistance to the Advancement department in a variety of duties relating to CCNM’s advancement portfolio on both the Toronto and Boucher Campuses including corporate partnerships, event coordination, annual giving, research and major giving.

Advancement Duties
- Create pitch decks and stewardship reports for corporate partners
- Assist with execution of advancement events on both campuses
- Assist with stewardship and benefit delivery of corporate partnerships portfolio
- Manage Boucher campus alumni relations and student rep related programs
- Assist with development and execution of annual giving, foundation giving and planned giving programs
- Copywrite materials for a variety of corporate and philanthropic initiatives and communications
- Assist Manager, Advancement with relationship building related to corporate partners, donors, and vendors on both campuses
- Conduct prospect research and create research profiles for corporate partners, donors, and foundations
- Work closely with marketing, research, academics, Boucher campus staff, and continuing education team to execute advancement duties, build cases for support, and assist with corporate partnership benefit delivery
Administration
- Coordinate the execution of advancement calendar (events, advancement communications – print/digital/social media)
- Provide timely updates to Manager, Advancement
- Execute ad-hoc advancement projects as assigned by Manager, Advancement
Qualifications
Technical/Accredited Skills
- Undergraduate or graduate degree/diploma from an accredited university, college or equivalent.
- 2 years’ experience in event planning, corporate sponsorships or philanthropy
- Strong event planning and coordination experience
- Highly developed computer literacy in all range of administrative support programs such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access, specifically with database management
- Intermediate graphic design skills would be an asset
Functional Skills
- Excellent written communication skills including the ability to write copy for a wide variety of audiences
- Previous sales, relationship management and negotiating skills with ability to positively influence people
- Research skills
- Planning and project management skills
- Good organizational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision in fast paced environment
- Tact, discretion and sound judgement
- Ability to manage and work with volunteers
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels verbally and in writing and to network and develop business relationships
Attitude, Actions & Behaviors
- Exemplary customer service skills to deal with a wide variety of internal and external clients
- Demonstrated understanding and support of the organization’s goals and objectives
- Flexibility to work an EST time zone as necessary as majority of work and clients are Toronto based.
The base rate of this position is: $42,500.00 CAD/Year

The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), established in 1978, is Canada's premier, pan-Canadian academic institution for education and research in naturopathic medicine.
