Position: Herbal Associate / Herbalist
Location: Toronto, ON (Junction neighbourhood)
Job Type: Part-time, Contract (may lead to permanent position)
Availability: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., 3-4 days/week
Hourly Wage: $18/hour

We are a fun group of people who make and sell herbal medicine to healthcare practitioners. You can read more about us on our website at perfectherbs.ca. Our business is growing and we’re looking to expand our production team! The Herbal Associate Assistant will fulfill customer orders.

Main functions include:

• Fulfilment of customer orders in a timely and efficient manner
• Preparing and dispensing herbal tinctures, dry herbs and tea blends
• Preparing, pressing, and dispensing herbal glycerites
• Preparing large batch teas and tincture blends
• Assisting with large-scale custom orders and related tasks
• Assisting with label creation and labelling of products
• Cleaning and maintaining production space

Employment requirements:

• Herbalist certification or student working toward certification (or equivalent experience)
• Ability to comfortably lift 50 lbs
• Familiarity with herbal Latin names is an asset
