Teaching Assistants, NMT450 Emergency Medicine (CCNM - Toronto Campus)

We are currently recruiting for enthusiastic, outgoing professional individuals for the position of Teaching Assistants, NMT450 Emergency Medicine. While specific duties for the position of Teaching Assistant may vary with each course, typically they may include advance preparation, leading weekly small-group practical sessions, demonstrating relevant techniques and methods to student groups, evaluating student performance of relevant techniques and methods, and offering guidance and mentoring to students.
NMT450 Emergency Medicine
Mondays
  • Practical Session: Monday, November 9 (8 a.m. - 12 p.m.)
  • Practical Exam: Monday, December 14 OR 21 (8 a.m. - 5 p.m. or later)
These positions are required to be on-site.
Available: Fall 2026

Qualifications
Experience
  • Clinical experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience teaching adult learners, particularly using online learning platforms such as Moodle, is an asset.
Education
  • Health-care professional registered in the province of Ontario (ND, DC, MD, etc.)
  • Training in teaching methodology, curriculum design, and evaluation at a post-secondary level is an asset
Skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication and facilitation skills with the ability to motivate and engage students
  • Excellent organization, analytical, research and time management skills
The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), established in 1978, is Canada's premier, pan-Canadian academic institution for education and research in naturopathic medicine. CCNM has two campuses, one in Toronto and another in the Metro Vancouver area known as the Boucher Campus. Its graduates are eligible to write the licensing examinations for all regulated jurisdictions in Canada and the United States to become naturopathic doctors.
