Part Time Faculty Labs and Diagnostic Imaging (CCNM - Boucher Campus)

The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) Boucher Campus is seeking an Instructor of Labs and Diagnostic Imaging for the Winter 2023 term.
This course will familiarize students with basic laboratory tests commonly ordered to assist in naturopathic patient assessment and management (e.g. hematology panel, ferritin assessment, thyroid panel, lipid panel, blood glucose assessment, blood type assessment, urinalysis, fecal immunochemical testing, routine cultures, etc).
It will familiarize students with different forms of diagnostic imaging modalities that are available (XRAY, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear imaging, endoscopy), as well as the modality which is best suited for a particular patient presentation or condition.
The practical component of this course will include performing common “in-house” laboratory testing (urinalysis, blood glucose testing, pregnancy testing, rapid Strep testing, etc), as well as reviewing various radiographic images.
Availability: February 13th – March 24th. : Onsite, Thursdays 1 - 4 p.m.
- The ideal candidate will be a Board licensed ND, MD, RN, etc.
- Training in teaching methodology, curriculum design, and evaluation at a post-secondary level is an asset
- Teaching experience with adult learners is an asset.

The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), established in 1978, is Canada's premier, pan-Canadian academic institution for education and research in naturopathic medicine. CCNM has two campuses, one in Toronto and another in the Metro Vancouver area known as the Boucher Campus.
