The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) Boucher Campus is seeking a Core Faculty Member to cover a maternity leave. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional teaching skills, a passion for education, and the clinical training necessary to relate biological knowledge to medical diagnosis and care. In addition to lecturing and tutoring duties, the incumbent will be responsible for various administrative duties in a team-taught course, including:
- Ensuring course shells are up-to-date
- Managing student course communication
- Coordinating instructors
- Creating and reviewing assessments
- Collaborating cross-campus with respect to course organization and deliver

Qualifications
- Naturopathic doctor (degree or diploma from an accredited naturopathic medical institute) or MD
- Two years or more of patient encounters as a senior medical student, medical resident, or practicing physician preferred
- Experience in teaching adult learners at a post-secondary level within the health sciences
- Ability to adapt and excel in new delivery and assessment platforms (online and onsite)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software – including Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to direct concurrent activities, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact and communicate effectively with students and colleagues
- Effective negotiation and conflict management skills to deal with a wide variety of student needs
- Ability to exercise professional judgment in a confidential environment

The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), established in 1978, is Canada's premier, pan-Canadian academic institution for education and research in naturopathic medicine. CCNM has two campuses, one in Toronto and another in the Metro Vancouver area known as the Boucher Campus. Its graduates are eligible to write the licensing examinations for all regulated jurisdictions in Canada and the United States to become naturopathic doctors.
