Education Coordinator
The Retail Education Coordinator is a tech-savvy individual who is highly organized and excels at creating efficient processes to ensure interdepartmental projects are executed with excellence. Primary responsibilities are successful coordination and follow-up of events for our multi-faceted retail educational program delivered to clients across Canada. Must be a fast learner with best-in-class skills working with virtual learning platforms and Microsoft Office Suite and have a passion for education and health.
Job Functions
  • Coordinate and execute the National Retail Education Program (NREP) virtual GoToWebinar & live event schedule with accuracy and timeliness
  • Facilitate interdepartmental coordination between education, sales, marketing, and customer service to maximize success of NREP
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives, including the launch of new product innovation through management of the sample program, working alongside customer service to establish best in class processes
  • Manage and coordinate all matters related to live/virtual retail education program including handling all correspondence and inquiries related to the program
  • Liaise with other departments via telephone, in person, by email to ensure participants are prepared and ready prior to the event
  • Create and maintain the master schedule of attendees, dispersing accurate attendee data and follow-up lists to key stakeholders
  • Utilize Salesforce, CRM, Salesforce, JDE, and other software to oversee the collection of data & communication of key insights to the sales team, synthesizing data in monthly reports to help establish ROI of educational initiatives
  • Confirm all technology for speakers and attendees are tested and ready prior to the live event
  • Manage schedules, organize meetings, take minutes
  • Provide your dynamic and engaged team with administrative and technical support
  • Attend staff training and relevant trade shows to foster continual opportunities to learn

Experience / Abilities of the Ideal Candidate
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to interpret and analyze sales data to draw conclusions and present key insights to team members
  • Highly adept with Salesforce, CRM and JDE software, ideally having 2-5 years experience working with these systems
  • Knowledge and experience working with GoToWebinar or other virtual learning platforms is a major asset
  • Any lack of experience must be offset by a high degree of initiative and ability to learn quickly on the job
Essential requirement to thrive in this role:
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in health, wellness, nutrition, education, business administration or related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with many interruptions and multiple priorities
